  • I created the project and it does not appear in the technician’s app. The app only shows the projects in whose Team the person is, directly or through a group. Add them (or their group) in the Team tab and ask them to sync (chapters 5 and 11).
  • Can I copy the schedule from one project to another? No: there is no project template and no duplicate button. The tasks are created in the Tasks tab. The MS Project XML of the original project serves as a reference (chapters 3 and 4).
  • The project is over and is still “Overdue”. On the project page, “Overdue” disappears when the State is a finished one; in the list’s Overdue filter, when progress reaches 100%. When closing, do both (chapters 2 and 4).
  • I update the tasks and the project % does not change. The project is in Manual mode (the typed number counts) or From schedule mode (the elapsed time counts). For the % to follow the tasks, change the Progress mode to From tasks in Edit (chapter 3).
  • I moved a task in the Gantt and the ones depending on it did not move. H2O draws the dependencies but does not reschedule by itself: adjust the following tasks. Critical shows which ones delay the project end (chapter 7).
  • I type the date of a parent task and it changes back. The parent task is a summary: its dates follow the subtasks. Change the dates of the subtasks (chapter 6).
  • I cannot drag the % of a task in the Gantt. The task is a commissioning phase: the % comes from the tasks of the linked tickets (chapter 6). If it is not a phase, the Edit right in Projects is missing.
  • How do I link to the project the tickets the team executes? In the Tasks tab, expand the task and use Link with the ticket number. The linked tickets appear in the PDF summary and in the app’s Tickets tab (chapter 6).
  • I do not see New Task, Link or Add. These buttons need Create in Projects; Edit on a task needs Edit; removing needs Trash. Ask the administrator for the missing level (chapter 1).
  • The client does not approve daily reports. How do I end the flow at management? Turn on Daily report without client approval in Edit: management approval then closes the report as Approved from that point on (chapters 4 and 9).
  • What is the difference between Equipment and Mobilization? Equipment (web and app) are rented machines, with daily rate and checklists. Mobilization (app only) takes company assets to the project site (chapters 10 and 11).
  • I cannot delete the project. All the tasks must be removed first, starting with the subtasks. In most cases the right thing is not to delete: change the state to a finished one and the history stays (chapter 4).
  • Project states and types do not change with the screen language. They come from an environment catalog, recorded once, without translation and without a registration screen in H2O. To add or rename one, ask ATG support (chapter 3).
