Frequently asked questions
Section titled “Frequently asked questions”- What is the difference between a supplier and a contact? A supplier is the company; a contact is the person. A contact can be linked to several suppliers, and a supplier to several contacts. Neither of them logs in to H2O — whoever logs in is a user.
- Does H2O fill in the supplier data from the CNPJ? No. The supplier’s CNPJ (Tax ID) is free text. The data only comes in automatically when the supplier is created by an invoice (name, address and phone from the invoice).
- A supplier appeared that nobody registered. It was created by an invoice approved by Engineering, with an issuer CNPJ that did not exist in the register. It stays at the company root and appears in all sites as inherited.
- The invoice created a duplicate supplier. The supplier you registered had no CNPJ (or had another one). Fill in the CNPJ in your record so the next invoices find it — the comparison uses only the digits. The supplier created by the invoice keeps the entries of that invoice in Asset Management; H2O does not merge the two records.
- Why can I not edit this supplier? Either it is inherited from a site above (yellow badge; change it with its site selected), or the profile does not have Edit on Contacts / Suppliers.
- I registered a contact and it does not appear in Link contact. The selector shows the contacts of the selected site (and of the sites above marked as recursive). Check the contact’s site — in the contact list, turn on the Entity column.
- Do Direct and Indirect change anything? Only the daily report: they define in which panel the job role appears (Direct or Indirect Workforce). In SST they make no difference.
- Why can I not delete a job role? It has already been used in a daily report or in SST (the message says where). Job roles with history stay in the register.
- The daily report says “No roles configured”. The project’s site and the sites above have no job roles in Workforce. Register them with the project’s site selected.
- The supplier does not appear in the daily report workforce. Add it to the project Team (type Suppliers).
- Does the inherited supplier appear in the ticket? Yes: the supplier selectors of the ticket, the NCR and the SST trainings show the site’s suppliers and those inherited from above. If it does not appear, check that the site selected in the header is below the supplier’s site.
- Can I export the supplier list? Yes, through the list’s own Export icon (Excel or PDF, of the page or of everything the filter found).
