  • What is the difference between Automatic Scheduling, Maintenance Plans and the Maintenance Calendar? Automatic Scheduling generates at once all the tickets of a horizon, from templates with a periodicity. Maintenance Plans (Planning › Maintenance Plans) is another module, with its own records and due dates. The Maintenance Calendar creates nothing: it is the agenda that shows the site’s tickets by date, including the ones generated here (chapter 7).
  • I generated the schedule and the first month has no ticket. The preferred day had already passed in the month of the Start Date, and H2O skipped a whole period. Start the schedule on the preferred day or before it (chapter 3).
  • I chose “Tuesday” and the monthly visits fell on other days. With a monthly or longer periodicity, only the first date obeys the day of the week; the following ones add one month. Use Day of month for those plans (chapter 3).
  • I ticked two plans and every UPS got both. That is the rule: a plan ticked in a family applies to all of its assets. For different plans on assets of the same family, make one schedule per group; if an item came out wrong, remove it (chapters 3 and 6).
  • I want to include another asset in the schedule. There is no button for that; create another schedule with it alone (chapter 6).
  • The horizon is over. How do I extend it? Create a new schedule starting the day after the previous one ends, with the same assets and plans. Generation only happens when you click Generate Schedule — nothing is created by itself afterwards (chapters 1 and 3).
  • How do I pause or cancel a schedule? There is no button today. To stop it, delete the schedule: the still-only-planned tickets go to the trash, the rest stays (chapter 6).
  • I deleted the schedule and some tickets remained. By the rule: a ticket that is assigned, with execution started, with checklist answers or moved manually stays. If they should not exist, delete them from the Tickets list (chapter 6).
  • The generated ticket has no technician. The template’s technician goes on the task; the ticket is born unassigned and without notification. Assign it on the Kanban or on the ticket page (chapters 4 and 7).
  • The holiday was not respected. The chosen calendar does not have that holiday — or it was registered after generating. Ask the H2O administrator to complete the calendar and, for the tickets already generated, move them on the schedule calendar (chapters 2 and 5).
