The table explains the messages that can appear in the daily report. The most common questions come right after.

Frequently asked questions

• I created two daily reports for the same day. What now? The web does not prevent it. Keep one and delete the other (trash can on the page, with Trash in Projects). In the app this does not happen: the daily report of a date is only one (chapter 3).
• The daily report came out without weather. The project’s site had neither coordinates nor city when the daily report was created. Fix the site record; opening the daily report in the app online fetches the weather for the date, and the H2O administrator can fill in the old daily reports (chapter 3).
• The approve button does not appear. Either it is not your step (the notice says whose turn it is), or the mark is missing from the profile: Approve (Eng.), Approve (Mgmt.) or Approve (Client), together with Edit in Daily Reports (chapter 1).
• I clicked Approve and Register Signature opened. That is expected on the first approval: sign and save, and the approval continues by itself. The signature stays in your profile for the next ones (chapter 5).
• I changed my signature. Do the daily reports already approved change? No. Each daily report keeps a copy of the signature from the moment of approval.
• The client does not approve daily reports. How do I close them at management? Turn on Daily report without client approval in the project. From then on, Approve (Final) takes the daily report to Approved. The daily reports that were already Awaiting Client keep waiting (chapter 5).
• Where is the reason for the rejection? In Client observations, on the Information tab and in the PDF. When correcting the daily report, adjust that field before resubmitting (chapter 5).
• I copied yesterday’s daily report and its observations came along. The copy always brings the observations, the energized area and the team comments; the marks only choose activities, media, workforce and equipment. Review the Information tab of the new daily report (chapter 3).
• A contractor does not appear in the Workforce. Add it to the project Team as a supplier; it becomes a row of the grid (chapter 4).
• The PDF came out in another language. The PDF comes out in the language of whoever generates it; when sent by e-mail, in the language of whoever requested the sending. Typed text comes out as it was saved; the weather condition comes out translated (chapters 3 and 6).
• The list does not show ⚡ Yes and the PDF does not show the energized area. The Yes answer is missing: in Edit Information, select Yes in Energized area?, or turn on the Energized site? switch in the app (chapters 4 and 8).
• The general list search does not find a daily report by its observations. The general list search looks for project, author, daily report name, date and number. To search the observations, use the search of the project’s Daily Reports tab (chapter 2).
• I sent it by e-mail and it did not arrive. The ZIP is built in the background: wait a few minutes and check the spam folder. The link is valid for 30 days (chapter 6).
• I need to correct a daily report already approved. Use Reopen: it returns to In progress and goes through the approvals again. Each change made on the web goes into the History (chapters 5 and 7).
• The technician creates and sends the daily report through the app, but does not see the buttons on the web. In the app, creating and sending require only Read in Daily Reports; on the web, creating requires Create in Projects and submitting requires Edit in Daily Reports (chapter 1).
• In the app, a daily report appears with the Rejected badge. It was rejected by an old version of the app. The reason appears on the card; the daily report follows the In progress path: correct it and send it again. On the web it appears as In progress, with Reopen (chapters 5 and 8).
